BAKL Cape Town Feb ‘21 – THE FINALS - Big Air Kiteboarding

It is down to the finals of the BAKL Cape Town Feb ‘21 and what a line-up we have got! In the yellow vest we have Steven Akkersdijk from the Netherlands, in the red vest Aaron Hadlow from the United Kingdom and in the black vest is the home town hero Ross-Dillon Player.

All three of these riders are well weighted in the big air scene. Steven has been one of the most consistent King of the Air and Megaloop Challange competitors in the last 5 years, Aaron is arguably the greatest kiter of all time with an array of world titles to his name and Ross is winner of the last Megaloop Challenge that took place in 2019. This heat is stacked to be one for the memory books!

Big Air Kite League Cape Town featured the 18 best big air riders left in Cape Town at the end of the 2021 season. The finals took place in 40-45 knot SE conditions paired with a dropping tide on a moderate swell, this made for some perfect kicker! It was an incredible day on the beach and all of the riders put on memorable performances.
