This session discusses the management of some common surgical emergencies and is presented by our very own Head of Anaesthesia & Analgesia, Andrew Foster BVSc MVetMed DipECVAA MRCVS, and Emergency + Critical Care Clinician, Miriam Guedra Allais BVSc MRCVS.
Miriam discusses the peri- and post-operative management from an ECC perspective, while Andrew discusses the anaesthesia and pain management options for these patients.
Using three case examples, the session is based on valuable experience and knowledge for managing more complex cases, that both vets and nurses can benefit from.
