In July 2017 Common and Kind returned to the Union Chapel, London. A sensational line-up of eight leading artists and groups from across the musical spectrum were joined by a massed choir of four hundred people demonstrating with momentous power that we have more in common in music. This year the massed choir was the product of workshop partnerships between a huge, diverse range of choirs and refugee centres. All combined at the end of the concert for a vast live rendition of Human Kind.

The final solo act of the night was New York-based singer J. Hoard, featuring Justin Stanton (Snarky Puppy) and Brad Allen Williams from the USA, with Arran McSporran and James Nall from the UK.
