Western Band | Strength Through Community

Over the last 2 ½ years, High School students across the globe have experienced learning during one of the most challenging time periods in the history of education. At a time when it would be easy to highlight the challenges they have experienced in their education as a result of the pandemic, this story instead is one of inspiration and hope.

"Western Band | Strength Through Community" is a student led documentary that has been put together over the last four months by members of the 2022 Band Leadership Executive. This documentary sheds powerful insight into the powerful impact a positive student culture and community can have on students. This inspiring documentary brings together the perspectives of students and alumni from the Western Canada High School Band Program spanning from 2016 - 2022.Thank you for watching and supporting our program, if you would like additional information:
