Russophobia: Root Cause of War in Ukraine. And Why the West Lost

Russophobia: A mental disorder, an illusion, a mirage, the Russians are coming. A Chamberlain-like psychic complex, an irrational fear of war from a time when war did come, from Germany. A cold war relic. That fear of war is then projected onto the Russians.
The West believing the Russians are coming expands NATO eastward even unto Ukraine. Such action is viewed a mortal threat by Russia who lost 27 million defending against Nazi Germans marching mostly through Ukraine to Moscow in WWII. Russophobia blinds empathy for the enemy. The West is fighting the ghosts of wars past.
Russophobia was evident in the “hysteria” for war in the West in February 2022. Citizenry bought the story many years in the planning by the Neocons that this war is a morality tale, a fight between good vs evil. Citizens eager to kill those bad Russians. Zelinsky the next Churchill.
