Irai Anbu
Dr. V. Irai Anbu (born June 16, 1963) is a retired Indian Administrative Service (IAS) officer, distinguished writer, and renowned motivational speaker from Tamil Nadu. Known for his multifaceted career, he most notably served as the Chief Secretary of Tamil Nadu from May 2021 until his retirement in June 2023.
Civil Service: A member of the 1985 batch of IAS, he held various high-level positions, including Secretary of Tourism, Environment and Forests, and Commissioner of Economics and Statistics.
Education: He holds multiple degrees across diverse fields, including a Ph.D. in Comparative Literature.
Literary Work: An incredibly prolific author, he has written over 100 books spanning short stories, poetry, essays, and self-improvement. Notable titles include Padippathu Sugame, Ezhavathu Arivu, and Acham Thavir.
Awards: In March 2025, he was honored with the Rajasthani-Tamil Seva Award 2025 for his exceptional contributions to public service.

முனைவர் வெ. இறையன்பு (பிறப்பு: ஜூன் 16, 1963) ஒரு ஓய்வுபெற்ற இந்திய ஆட்சிப் பணி (IAS) அதிகாரி, தலைசிறந்த எழுத்தாளர் மற்றும் ஊக்கச்சக்தி பேச்சாளர் ஆவார். 1988-ஆம் ஆண்டு ஐ.ஏ.எஸ் தேர்வில் அகில இந்திய அளவில் 15-வது இடத்தைப் பிடித்தவர்.
நிர்வாகப் பணி: மே 2021 முதல் ஜூன் 2023 வரை தமிழ்நாட்டின் தலைமைச் செயலாளராகப் பணியாற்றினார். தனது பணிக்காலத்தில் எளிமைக்கும், நேர்மைக்கும் பெயர் பெற்றவராகத் திகழ்ந்தார்.
கல்வி: இவர் முனைவர் பட்டம் (Ph.D.) உள்ளிட்ட பல உயர் பட்டங்களைப் பெற்றவர். இலக்கியம் மற்றும் நிர்வாகத் துறையில் ஆழ்ந்த அறிவு கொண்டவர்.
இலக்கியப் பங்களிப்பு: இதுவரை 100-க்கும் மேற்பட்ட நூல்களை எழுதியுள்ளார். படிப்பது சுகமே, ஏழாவது அறிவு, உள்ளொளிப் பயணம், அச்சம் தவிர் போன்றவை இவரது குறிப்பிடத்தக்க நூல்களாகும்.
விருதுகள்: மார்ச் 2025-ல் இவரது சிறந்த பொதுச் சேவையைப் பாராட்டி ராஜஸ்தானி-தமிழ் சேவா விருது 2025 வழங்கப்பட்டது.
