When I looked I couldn't see your face
Thought I caught a glimpse - a passing trace
But I hadn't seen you
All I do is dream you
How I want to call your name

You're the myst'ry someone in my mind
Sweet fulfilment that I hope to find
Everything I do is
All wrapped up in you and
I don't even know your name

There's a golden box of love
inside every human heart
Waiting just to find the one
Where the pouring-out can start

People spend their whole lives on that ride
Grass is greener on the other side
Looking for the soul who'll
Make their dreams become true
Love is never satisfied

There is something else which lies behind
All the close encounters of that kind
Rippling waters flowing
Back to the All-Knowing
Will we never realise?
