NIGHTCLUB FIRE; YURI DEMANDS CBI INQUIRY

The Chief Minister said that 47 establishments in North Goa and 37 in South Goa were inspected, with 22 sealed for operating without proper licenses and fire safety permissions.

Meanwhile, Leader of the Opposition Yuri Alemao demanded a CBI inquiry into the Birch Nightclub fire that claimed 25 lives. He called for political and moral accountability and the sacking of any minister or MLA involved, warning that the tragedy has harmed Goa’s international image.
