One Big Ireland Road Trip

Join us on an incredible 10-day road trip through Ireland, packed with history, breathtaking scenery, and unforgettable experiences.

We set off from England and crossed into the Republic of Ireland, beginning our adventure in the stunning *Wicklow Mountains* and the atmospheric *Glendalough valley**, home to ancient monastic ruins. From there, we explored **historic Kildare* and its impressive cathedral before heading west to **County Mayo**. In **Westport**, we soaked up the lively pubs, traditional music, and the rugged beauty of Mayo’s coastline and mountains.

Our journey continued north to *Derry**, where we delved into the city’s history and discovered its lesser-known surroundings. From there, we explored the dramatic **Causeway Coast**, marvelling at the UNESCO World Heritage site of the **Giant’s Causeway**, crossing the thrilling **Carrick-a-Rede rope bridge**, and visiting iconic spots like the **Dark Hedges* (a Game of Thrones filming location), the mysterious **Loughareema (Vanishing Lake)**, and the lush **Glens of Antrim**.

For our final night in Ireland, we experienced the vibrant nightlife of *Belfast**, before making our way back to England via **Dumfries and Galloway, Scotland**. Along the way, we revisited the enigmatic sites of **Whithorn* and **Garlieston**, leaving us inspired all over again.

This was truly an epic road trip across Ireland (and beyond) that showcases some of the most magical, historic, and awe-inspiring places on the Emerald Isle. Perfect for anyone dreaming of their own Irish adventure!
