Best Desktop Laser of 2025? LaserPecker LP5 Review & Tests + Depth Map in Photoshop for Logos

The LaserPecker LP5 is a serious upgrade from the LP4 and possibly the best laser of 2025 — combining a 20W diode laser and a 20W fiber laser in one desktop laser unit.

In this video, I unbox the LP5, walk through the setup, and test it to engrave and cut on wood, leather, aluminum and brass. I also try something more practical — using the fiber laser to engrave a brass stamp for branding woodturning projects. A cool laser project with a machine that might surprise you! I also make a depth map in photoshop.

All test settings are shown on screen, and I’ll link both the machine and the materials below. Some of the designs are my own, and some are from Etsy (a few dollars and absolutely worth it).
