Kogilu Layout Eviction: Karnataka Government Plans Rehabilitation

The Karnataka government has announced plans to rehabilitate families affected by the eviction at Kogilu Layout, Yelahanka. Under the CM’s One Lakh Houses Scheme, permanent homes will be provided to those who truly do not own a house, with loan facilities for contributions between ₹1–2 lakh.

A high-level meeting chaired by CM Siddaramaiah and Deputy CM D.K. Shivakumar reviewed the eviction process and rehabilitation plans. Housing Minister Zameer Ahmed Khan and other senior officials ensured proper verification, alternative arrangements, and a humanitarian approach for affected families.
