BWF Members' Forum 2025 - Session 3 - INCLUSIVE BADMINTON

SPOTLIGHT ON PARA BADMINTON & SPECIAL OLYMPICS
‘Inclusion’ is one of the five values in the Strategic Plan 2024 – 2028 and diversity and inclusion are important reference points for our work. Embracing diversity and inclusion demonstrates we are a part of a global badminton community and that our sport remains welcoming and accessible for people of all ages, abilities and backgrounds. [BWF Strategic Plan]
This session focuses on inclusion in the context of Para badminton and Special Olympics. The panel discussion highlights the benefits and impacts of an inclusive approach in sport, and provides examples of how Member Associations can work in Para badminton and Special Olympics to support inclusive practices.
