I`m sure it`s the goal of every drummer to play at the highest possible level and to keep on learning on how to improve their drumming. Also it`s very important for me to have great sounding drums that fits the style of drumming that I do. So many of you know me as the drummer of my own Ken Loomer Big Band like on this video • Swinging Up Tempo "Wind Machine" Ken Loome... So the vintage drums I use in this video is my 70`s Slingerland Buddy Rich model with the 24 inch bass drum, 9x13 tom, two 16x16 floor toms, and a 5.5x14 inch snare drum. It has a wide open natural tone sound with no muffling. I have over the years learned so many drum techniques that has helped me reach the goal of playing at my highest level. In this drum solo workout, I`m using drum techniques like finger control to get the speed I want in a relaxed way. I`m still learning all the time on how to play better, and most important playing with other musicians on how to make the music feel good and exciting to listen to.
