Deputy Wipeout, Doggo Win: K9 Eddie Nabs the Runner

Deputies in Pierce County responded to a trespassing call after a vehicle drove past barricades onto private land in Tacoma. The driver was initially slumped over but quickly became uncooperative when deputies discovered the license plate was stolen.

When they attempted to detain him, he bolted—leading to a foot chase through woods and rough terrain. One deputy even collided with the suspect on a hillside, sending both tumbling down.

After regrouping, deputies brought in K9 Eddie to track the suspect through heavy brush and a dried-up riverbed. Eddie ultimately found the man hiding in the woods, leading to his arrest.

Bodycam footage shows the chase, the fall, and the K9 apprehension from start to finish.
