do you guys ever remember that the darkling's favourite colour is the buttery hue of SUNLIGHT. i do. ... i need a full length novel continuing on from "demon in the woods". it is my favourite book in the grisha trilogy - is it even part of the trilogy per se?? - that and the tailor. but they are /so/ good. go read it if you haven't! they are ~accompanying novellas (if thats the right term).

all that said, i've had this twelve quote from dw stuck in my head for the darkling for a while now. honestly, this theme is not heavily delved upon within the books in the ways i wish it had. but in comparison to other ~immortal type characters from this era or genre, the darkling is pretty interesting as someone whose biggest weakness is the fear of being alone. baghra is also SUPER interesting as well. actually, the entire morozova clan is RIPE with intrigue, leigh!! [aggressively gestures to "demon in the woods"] .... listen... i just.... love villains.....

anyways. it is 11pm here so i may be shooting myself in the foot uploading this at this time, but. mostly wanted to get this out because 1) i am at /that/ point of quarantine 2) i already am working on a modern au with luke & ben 3) actually i have half a crack!video from the s&b livestream to finish... 4) i wanna do this for the crows as well. so. i am happy if you make it here. x
