Funny story with this one...
This flight was supposed to depart at 6:00AM and was supposed to be on N438YX (a newer Winglet E175) But after coming in from DCA the night before there was a mechanical failure and was sitting at Gate 35 all morning. Republic Airways then sent another E175 (N132HQ) to replace it in the pool of active American E175s. This was a corresponding move to take N438YX back to SDF (Louisville) I got to JFK Terminal 8 and N132HQ hadn't left Louisville yet so we were delayed like 2.5 hours.
