Already a fan favourite through local shows, ‘Blasphemy’ has a warm, wide-ranging appeal that will introduce Ellis to new audiences. Its jangly acoustic singer-songwriter style is driven by radiant summer soundtrack melody, with Ellis’s voice sparkling with a beguilingly bright pop edge. But there’s a depth to it too, with a melancholy lyric about love, regrets and moving on that provides the counterpoint to its sunny disposition. The song was written solely by Ellis and was produced by Vincent Garcia.

Ellis says, “It was a time when I felt really confused and everything in my life seem to come with a thousand questions and I didn't have any of the answers.”
