How to Encapsulate Chrome Powder Stamping in an Acrylic Nail with Glitter and Bling

Hi Guys,

So yesterday you might have seen my Chrome Powder Stamped Ombré, now that one was more of a test, but this one is the real deal. Same technique but much better results.

This nail has a bit of everything, to be honest. It's got transparency, ombré, glitter, it has stamping with chrome powder and it even has gel polish and bling! If there were awards for how many things you can do on a nail whilst it still being this subtle I would walk away with the title haha!

But honestly, it does have a lot, especially for such a teeny tiny nail!

So I started by creating a clear base for me to work on, I then extended the nail bed out from one side so it gave a nice asymmetric look and blended it into the clear I had put down previously. I then mixed a magic glitter potion, (Adam says I'm a witch....) mixing all of the glitters gives such a nice depth.

Once that was applied I used Serious Black gel polish as a base for the stamping. You can do any design you like, but it's best to match the powder to the glitter colour.

Here are two reasons it's great to stamp with Chrome Powder;
1. It wont dry out like polish or acrylic paint.
2. You can use the stamp multiple times!

Finally I encapsulated the design, now you have to be careful with this. You have to gently apply it across the stamping, but you must not, and I repeat MUST NOT drag the acrylic across the stamped area you have to tease it down the nail because if you drag, you will mess up your lovely design.
