#43 Bangkok & Luxury Bus To Chiang Mai 🇹🇭🚌🥭

In this video we explored more of Bangkok. The day started at an interesting place called "Make Me Mango". In this dessert restaurant everything has mango in it - like the name implies. I didn't read anything about the restaurant before we visited and just ordered a random thing on the menu, but still thought I was getting some nice meal, but I got a massive dessert plate. It tasted very well and we both liked what we ordered. I can recommend going to this restaurant even though it is quite expensive.

After filling our stomachs with sugar, we walked around the center of Bangkok, past famous landmarks like the democracy monument until we reached the famous Khaosan Road. The street is good for shopping, partying, eating, buying weed and getting a massage. In fact the nightlife there is very good - we experienced that back in 2019. Since we were there during the daytime the area was quite quiet.

We walked through Khaosan Road just to look around and eventually we decided to get a massage which was fantastic. After the massage we got ourselves some delicious Thai food in a side street close to Khaosan Road. At dawn we noticed that there was more life on the street and decided to walk once more through it. Always interesting to come there.

On the way back we got a nice surprise since we saw the queen of Thailand! It seems she was coming from Saranrom Palace, but we are not sure and we have no idea where she was going. The security in the area was very tight with army and police presence along with security guards. The queen was in her Rolls Royce and then another approximately 30 cars followed her in a convoy. Interesting experience!

The day after exploring Bangkok we took a luxury bus to Chiang Mai. The bus was very comfortable - a lot of space and the seats were great. The bus journey took a total of nine hours so we were quite tired once we arrived in Chiang Mai. But like I said, the bus was very comfortable and I can highly recommend travelling with a luxury bus in Thailand. Once we checked into our hotel in Chiang Mai we didn't do much except get some dinner in 7/11.

The start of our travels in Thailand has been great so far.
