Sudan: Army, Paramilitary RSF Causing Partition? | Vantage with Palki Sharma

April 15, 2025 marked two years of the ongoing civil war in the North African country of Sudan. The two warring sides include the Sudanese Army and Paramilitary Rapid Support Forces, also known as RSF. Now the RSF has announced that it will form a rival government which will govern areas and regions controlled by troops of the RSF. This comes after the Sudanese Army made a similar announcement in February. The Sudanese Army recently took control of Khartoum, the capital from the RSF after days of intense fighting. Meanwhile, the United Kingdom held a summit in London to discuss the war in Sudan. Experts say the Sudanese Army and the RSF want to split the country into two. Is Sudan going to be partitioned again, after it went through a similar situation in 2011 which led to the formation of South Sudan. Palki Sharma tells you more.
