Let's take a look at the new flight controller from Matek designed for airplanes: Matek F411-Wing. Comparing to its older brother (or sister or just a sibling) Matek F405-Wing it is much smaller, lighter and lacks many of the features:
2 UARTs instead of 6
5 servos instead of 7
no SD card slot
3 BECs instead of 4

But to be honest, not everyone needs 6 UARTs and 7 servo outputs, right? This is why Matek F411-Wing is a smaller, lighter and cheaper alternative to F405-Wing. If you plan to use it on a flying wing, connect only a receiver, telemetry and GPS, 2 UARTs and 1 SoftwareSerial is all you really need.
My plan is to F411-Wing on my unfortunate ZOHD Nano Talon and to check if lighter NT might actually fly right.
