12-hour journey from Osaka to Tokyo through 97 stations on local trains

This time, we decided to take a trip from Osaka to Tokyo using a Seishun 18 Ticket (青春18きっぷ), a popular ticket option for budget travelers in Japan. The cost of one Seishun 18 Ticket is 12,050 yen (approximately 87 USD), which includes five days of unlimited travel on local and rapid JR trains within Japan (cannot be used on the Shinkansen or express trains). That means you can hop on and off any local or rapid JR train as many times as you like during the five days.

Our trip lasted 12 hours and began at 11:30 AM as we boarded the local JR train from Osaka station. Although quite exhausting, it was an unforgettable journey filled with new experiences and adventures. I'm so grateful for the opportunity to discover the breathtaking and beautiful scenery passing by outside the train’s window.
