TOP 10 Films in 2025 (so far)

We are halfway through 2025, which means that it is time to run through some of the best films of the year so far.

To be included on this list, films must have a North American release outside of a festival run in 2025. As such, there are a couple of entries that premiered in 2024 but did not receive a wider release until 2025. If a film is currently on a festival run this year but has an announced 2025 theatrical release date, it may also be included. If I loved a film during its festival play, but it has yet to receive a formal wide release date, it is not included.
