　　三十三歲的廣告公司中層梁寬，與結婚八年，任職財經公司妻子Ann（鄭裕玲）分居後，在事業、愛情、友情上均出現了極大變化。事業方面公司聘請了漂亮能幹的林太（鍾楚紅），阿寬對她敬畏愛慕兼備，林太對他提攜有加，但卻命其辭退公司冗員，其中包括好友Q太郎，阿寬最終將Q辭退，但為了友情自己亦只好辭職。愛情方面除了林太外，梁寬重遇初戀情人Jenny（李美鳳），Jenny屬漂亮迷人的「受保護動物」，梁寬對其憐惜痛愛，但當發覺妻子可能另有新歡後，阿寬才明白到自己深愛的仍是太太阿Ann……

Leung Foon is one of those youthful, upward-moving people. He is 33, middle rung officer of an advertising agency, and has been married eight years to Ann. Ann holds down a key post in a finance company. She also likes to manage Foon's life. The couple has been drifting apart. A quarrel and the two decide to separate. Q-Taro and Big Cheat, Foon's colleagues and close friends, like to fool around. Q is married to the city shrew while Big Cheat's wife puts him above everything else. Foon has a new boss, Mrs. Lam who wants to rid the agency of useless employees. She forces Foon to fire Q-Taro……
