Back to some classic era stuff with my cover of Got Love For Sale by KISS, as performed on their 1977 album Love Gun.
I've had this one 90% done for about a year now but I needed a 12-string to complete it. A regular acoustic just didn't sound right. I didn't include the 12-string performance in the video but I think it's clear where and what it plays.
Unusual tones on all of the instruments (especially the bass) but I did the best I could with what I have. The solo is awesome and features Ace at his (sloppy) best!
***I am NOT a professional guitar player, in fact I've never actually taken a formal lesson. I just love to play. My intention isn't artistic expression, but rather to document how I think these songs are played, both as a reference for myself and others wishing to learn. I welcome any suggestions or comments that might help me or anyone else improve their appreciation of this classic music catalog.
