Stalk, Gralloch, Cook: RED DEER in Scotland | Game Eater

I’m on the hill this week, going after a three-legged red stag on Abercairny Estate with head stalker Josh Burton. Venison is such a good source of meat: it’s lean, sustainable, healthy and delicious. And red deer happen to live in the most epic places - so the stalking is wild and challenging. Then I’m keeping it nice and simple with some loin and the Joy stove, cooking up some steak with a whisky and cream sauce.
