Eric Bogle is an outstanding singer/songwriter who hails from Peebles in the Scottish Borders. He emigrated to Australia in 1969 and this song was written to mark the moment when he really felt Australia was his home. The images were garnered from various sources on the web and I do not own the copyright to any of them. Similarly, I do not have permission to use the music.
