Me and You (live version)

I spent 4 hours practicing, preparing, setting up, recording, fucking up, recording more, then splicing, re-singing, uploading, downloading, editing in bandlab, spacializing... etc.

Just to get this video out as a proof of concept for my submission ‪@nprmusic‬

this isn't even what im planning, I just wanted to see if i could edit a video. and I can. took me as long as it takes to mae a song.

im confident in my abilities now.

but I have to record it actually live.

I had to end up recording the guitar and singing by them selves because I couldn't get good dynamic range on both at the same time on my phone.

but with the help of my counselor mr. young we can get it done.

im gonna show him after.

and yes I was #acting

but it wasn't a "oh im fake singing and playing so I can give more attention to my face" thing. its something I always do when recording songs you just cant see it.

but you hear it.

so I, from the get go was "acting" but I couldn't focus on that, but also playing guitar with emotion, and sing the right words on time with emotion as well, ALL AT THE SAME TIME.

I'm trying to get better, and though I'm not there yet.

he was my main inspiration since the first time I stepped into choir, and I learned confidence i thought I never had, through him. enough to get me and my voice here.

I was too afraid to sing any louder than a whisper, and now look at me. I made my own music video.
