Zimbabwe faces high unemployment rates, and educated youths are turning to agriculture to earn a living. This has seen an increased production of the maize staple by up to 199% in 2021. Unlike most African countries, where the average age of a farmer is 60, most of the Zimbabwean farmers are young.
