Early on in the process of writing our first musical, SESAC helped us bring in Angela Hunte for a songwriting session. Angela wrote "New York State of Mind" with Alicia Keys and was the kids' voice on Nas' "I can." She worked with legendary songwriter Max Martin and has written thousands of songs. She is a beautiful human and we were so blessed to have the opportunity to work with her. She inspired us and helped us create some dope song ideas. Stay tuned for more from our process!
