-Hello & welcome to this bumper Failed Franchises episode, featuring all 5 ECML operators and their histories; GNER, NXEC, EC, VTEC & LNER. I look at train companies that have failed at their franchise agreements or have been criticised by passengers & industry alike; and today I'll be looking at all 5 of the ECML operators and whether or not they should be classified as failed. LNER is ranked as a 'successful franchise' as it is still an operator as the time of uploading!
