Vintage Humidifier Noise from the 1960's | ASMR

If you were a kid in the 60's or 70's, your mom or dad may have placed a humidifier at bedside when sick. The pleasant sound of the humidifier was soothing and a fond memory for many. This vintage humidifier by Hankscraft was recorded to bring back these memories for a relaxing ten hour listen.

The Process
A vintage humidifier was acquired and recorded in the studio using a high quality audio recording chain: AKG mics, API mic pres. This sound was mixed and imported in to the video editing program. A mid-century style bedroom was custom created in Blender and the humidifier inserted. The introduction was created for a fun nostalgic 1960's feel.
