The place is London, and the year is 1888. Queen Victoria has been monarch for half a century, Jack the Ripper is stalking Whitechapel, and other sinister things hide amidst the fog. This actual play series will delve into eldritch and gothic horror, but will have room for levity and humour.
The supernatural is a part of the fabric of this world, but hidden and shadowed. This is partially by design: elements in government are dedicated to the suppression, containment, and eradication of occult practices from the British Empire. As such, possessing occult paraphernalia (or worse yet, being supernatural oneself) can quickly place a target on one’s back.
Make no mistake, monsters walk the cobbles of London’s streets, but so do heroes…
