I took a budget flight to Kutaisi and a 4-5 hour taxi ride to Mestia. It’s my new favorite winter spot! I stayed at a beautiful cottage surrounded by snowy mountains at Hill Silence Mestia.
I tried delicious local dishes like Chakapuli, Kubdari, and enjoyed lots of red wine. Spent two days enjoying the snow, peace, and amazing food.
