In this vlog, join us as we head to my in-laws' home in the picturesque Nepali village of Hattikharka, Dhankuta, near Hile Bazaar, for a special Dashain celebration. We hopped on a local Micro bus with other village people to reach our destination. After arriving at the in-laws' place, we took some much-needed rest and kicked off the next day with some delightful tea and local cookies. Then, my wife and her sisters showcased their culinary skills, preparing a delicious feast of pork, Puri-sabji, Noodle fry, Dal-bhat, and more for the Dashain festivities. It was my first Dashain celebration with my wife, and it turned out to be a memorable and well-spent day.
