From Maps to AI Agents – Part 7: Crash Course on Vercel AI SDK

This is Part 7 of the tutorial series on building cutting-edge agentic geospatial applications!

In this video, we take a step back to learn more about the ins and outs of the Vercel AI SDK. This is important as the AI SDK is the foundation of our agentic workflows. Knowing the basics and main components of the AI SDK in more detail helps better understand the more advanced AI functionalities that we'll add later to our app.

In this video, you will intuitively learn how the AI SDK fundamentally works in both the back-end and front-end, and what are the main considerations when integrating it with an agentic geospatial app.

This video serves as the foundation for the next few videos where we will be working on integrating more advanced geospatial tools with the Assistant.
