Arzoo Kazmi is a bold and outspoken journalist, media consultant, and social media influencer based in Islamabad. Born in Karachi, she attended Trinity Methodist Church School before earning her master’s degree in journalism from Punjab University.
Her family background is steeped in intellectual and journalistic tradition. Her father, Syed Salahuddin Kazmi, hailed from Kada near Prayagraj (formerly Allahabad) and was honored with a gold medal by the Government of Pakistan in 1998 for his journalistic services. On her maternal side, her roots go back to Ambala, while her great-grandfather, Syed Fareedudin Ahmed, served as a judge at the Allahabad High Court.
Arzoo’s professional journey began as joint editor of Nihao-Salam, a magazine she launched with Senator Mushahid Hussain Sayed. Over the years, she has contributed to prestigious publications including Business Recorder, The Frontier Post, Pakistan Observer, Independent Urdu, and several Indian newspapers.
Her frequent appearances on both Indian and Pakistani television channels have earned her recognition as a cross-border media personality. Known for her candid views and fearless commentary, she has also carved out a niche on YouTube, where her shows stand out for their distinctive style and engaging discussions.
Until 2018, Arzoo anchored in Pakistan’s mainstream media, where she hosted the talk show Mukalma (“Dialogue”). Today, she continues to make her mark as a powerful voice in digital media.

Shakil Chaudhary is a journalist, author, and researcher. He is an alumnus of Government College, Lahore. He later studied International Relations at Quaid-i-Azam University, Islamabad, and Media and Communications at the London School of Economics.
Over the years, he has worked for several leading English-language newspapers and a few other organizations. He is the author of the critically acclaimed bilingual book Handbook of Functional English (Ferozsons), designed to help South Asians improve their English language skills.
Prof. Tariq Rahman, one of South Asia’s most distinguished linguistic scholars, has praised the book, calling it “an excellent guide for the South Asian user of the English language.” Shakil has twice spoken at the Middle East Institute in Washington, D.C., and has conducted numerous workshops on communication, writing, and critical thinking.
He is a founding member of the Human Rights Commission of Pakistan (HRCP) and served as President of the Progressive Writers' Association, Islamabad, from 2021 to 2022. He has attended Rotary’s annual conventions in Toronto and Hamburg.
