Looking for easy no stress Slow Stitching that can be completed in one sitting? Let me help! Stitch along with me to create a peaceful mountain scene with trees, flowers, and a windy sky. I take an abstract approach to suggesting elements from nature as I Slow Stitch using mostly the Straight Stitch and adding in the Blanket Stitch and French Knots.
Slow stitching this way - by hand - is so relaxing because you don’t have to think about following a complex pattern or worry about your stitches being perfect. It’s all about free flowing relaxing creativity. Stitch Along with Me!
After watching this video you’re going to be able to create your own mini work of Slow Stitching Art!
Fabric Notes: I’m using a variety of 100% Cotton Fabrics for this project and Wool Blend Felt for the base.
Thread & Needle Notes:
-In this project I’m using TWO strands of the 6 stranded Embroidery Floss for stitching.
-I’m using Embroidery Needles to create the stitches.
-To create French Knots I use a Milliners Needle.
