HIGHLY DETAILED Roll Cage Tube Bending Cart Build, JD2 Conversion To Electric Over Hydraulic

For part design
I used the free (non commercial) version of Fusion360 to design my parts. Save your sketch as a DXF file. Then import it into SendCutSends website. They will give you a quote based on the size, material type, and thickness. It usually arrives at your door in about 10 days. The higher quantity parts you order, the cheaper it is.

(I recommend the 180 degree dies, Its a little bit more money, but you never know when you need to bend past 90 degrees, and can't because of the cheaper 90 degree die option)

(I would try to find one local on Facebook market place, for cheap. Or wait till they go on sale. Also don't use the casters, they don't have bearings, and are not the best.)

5 Inch Swivel Caster Wheels, Heavy Duty Casters
(I used 4in casters, same brand. They are too short for my engine hoist to slide under the cart, to pick it up. I would go with the 5in or even 6in, which would make things ALOT easier for lifting the cart. Other than that, these are good casters, but they pickup a lot of small metal shavings into the rubber wheels)

Battery Cables from Wire Barn.
(I've used them a lot, good company and great product. Remember, it's always better to go larger with battery cables, than smaller. Don't forget to pickup copper lugs as well. They do require a crimping tool, or you could solder them, since they won't be flexing much)

Hydraulic Hoses and Fittings
I did not include the links to these, mainly because I got them from a mom & pop shop. But there is also ALOT of fittings or adapters you may need. Depending on the pump, cylinder, or log splitter valve you buy, you might need completely different fittings or size of hose than what I bought. I spent about 320$ for all the fittings, hoses, and labor for them to be made. It's also easier to bring the cart to their shop, as my hose measurements were WAY off). I was there for the whole process, which took about an hour. I was able to test fit and decide on hose routing, while they made the hoses. For those local to North East Indiana, I used Maumee Hydraulics & Bearings LLC.   / maumeehydraulics
