Magic Arena ran a Brawl Metagame Challenge last week and I grinded the event with numerous different decks to find the best one.

Turns out, the best competitive deck for the Brawl queues happens to be lead by Roffellos, Llanowar Emissary, a mana dork who's Banned as a commander in EDH.

Among a playfield of straight to combo Old Stickfingers, bonkers Ajani, Nacatl Pariah and the face of the event in old time Brawl favorite Rusko, Clockmaker, Roffellos was my best performer overall, not to mention the most fun deck on the field.

I never loved a monogreen deck this much!

The competitive level of the event was overall very high, and in this video I showcase why this old timer mana dork is the best commander currently available for Brawl.
