We wanted to scrap the screwdriver starting method so we swapped in a new steering column, complete with ignition and key! It was a pretty straightforward job, as was popping the roof back to shape - Darin's shoulders come in handy here...
Exciting times have arrived and with them a new group of videos begins!
My wonderful girlfriend Judy and I have finally pick up our own Sidekick!
Join us for fun and frustration as we tackle the multitude of issues within and try to make a decent rig out of this little beater.
The plans include a new transmission, a head gasket (or new engine), a ton of rust repair, bumpers, rock sliders, a suspension lift and much, much more.
This is an opportunity for Judy to learn all sorts of repair and maintenance skills and get her hands dirty with a bit of basic fab work as well. Maybe you'll pic up a tip or trick as well or, better yet, pass some on to us!
