After the assessment, Jethro will also show Travis some exercises for the treatment of his low back pain as well.

Studies have shown that most (over 90%) of adults will experience an extended period of back pain over the course of a lifetime that lasts 6 weeks or longer. It's no wonder too since we spend so much time sitting. Whether it seems like it or not, this is an "overuse" type of injury. The muscles that you use to sit, are overused and this creates a muscular imbalances and weakness in the body in certain areas. Mechanical low back pain is common but doesn't have to happen and is treatable if you take an active role in the rehabilitation.
Some of the concerns of back pain include knowing when the problem might be more serious than a simple strain, and knowing when specialized imaging tests might be helpful. There are warning signs to look for to help understand when back pain is a problem that is more serious.
Some of the back pain warning signs to look out for more serious problems include:
Night pain (especially pain that awakens you from sleep)
Constant symptoms of pain
Symptoms of generalized illness (fever, chills, malaise, weight loss)
Symptoms persisting beyond several weeks
Leg pain, numbness, or weakness
These warning signs don't necessarily mean there is a more serious problem, however, they are a good screening test to determine if more evaluation should be pursued.
Even teenagers and kids are experiencing back pain these days, again due to a large amount of time sitting.
