A day in Positano, Italy with Willow Hand

In this video, I take you with me as I explore the breathtaking coastal gem of Positano, Italy. This beautiful town has been on my must-see list for a while, and I finally had the chance to visit—and it did not disappoint! I’ve honestly never had my breath taken away more times in a single trip. With its dramatic, mountainous coastline and vibrant, colorful buildings, Positano feels like something out of a dream. The crystal-clear blue water is so mesmerizing, it's like swimming in an aquarium!

Of course, the Italian food here was beyond incredible. From fresh seafood to handmade pasta, every meal was a culinary experience! But I will say, be prepared for a lot of walking—especially if your hotel is perched high above the beach like mine. The steep paths and endless stairs are part of Positano’s charm, but they can also be quite the workout! If you're planning a trip and want to avoid the hike, I recommend staying closer to the main areas or ensuring your hotel has parking if you’re driving.

A fun fact about Positano: it was once a wealthy maritime power, but over time, it became a popular destination for artists and travelers, gaining global fame in the mid-20th century. Today, it’s one of the most sought-after vacation spots on the Amalfi Coast, known for its stunning views, luxury hotels, and gorgeous beaches.
