Oli crosses over the snow bulge after a troublesome belay session. The rope was getting stuck repeatedly under an ice curtain and if that wasn't enough of a challenge then the last section of the rope was frozen, making it even less cooperative. Oli had the good sense to tie a loop onto the rope and clip it into the closest ice screw when I was troubleshooting the belay. You get extra points if you can make out the words we are saying - the howling wind made it even hard for us to communicate when we were face to face!
