Mutitjulu Band are a Desert Reggae Band from the Central Australia.
The five piece band sing in Pitjantjatjara and English.
Their songs are powerful and speak of their land and their culture. They formed and made their Bush Bands debut in 2019 and now are back again in 2025!
In 2019, the band travelled from their community at the base of Uluru, Northern Territory to Sydney for the ABC’s Recording Studio T.V series which you can watch here: / 1216116451891382
The multi-talented desert reggae band the Mutitjulu Band make the trip to Sydney from their community at the base of Uluru, Northern Territory, to record a song in Pitjantjatjara - their Indigenous language.
They written many tracks including ‘Kungka Kutju’ or ‘Lonely Girl’.
