In this video I do what is probably the final inspection for the year of hive number 17, which is a nuc hive that I created August 5th. It was kind of late in the season to create a nuc hive, at least for a nuc hive that I planned to winter as 10 frames. It wasn't progressing fast enough so I had to give it quite a few bees and brood from other hives in order to get it large enough to fill out two medium nuc supers. Next year I think I'm going to try over wintering 5 frame nucs in styrofoam nuc boxes.
