(4K) WOW! MAXIMUM STOP IN 3000ft UPS Airlines Airbus A300 | Planespotting at Chicago O'Hare Airport

UPS Airlines Airbus A300-600F giving a tutorial on how to stop a heavy jet in 3000 ft of runway space and get the most out of all available runway width. I’ve seen it done only a few times now, each time is impressive.

Some might question this maneuver but it is entirely within capabilities of this airplane when it is lightly loaded or empty as you see here. It's just not very common to see! In most cases, the crew is simply trying to avoid a 15-20 minute taxi after landing that involves doubling back and then waiting for landing traffic on the very runway they landed on (Runway 28C). A diagram of ORD is a useful tool for seeing why.
