Re- Fixing a no power, no charging condition by performing a battery reset. MacBook not powering on, charger indicator not lighting up (faintly blinking orange & green), battery indicator not lighting up. Battery reset fixed issues.
NOTE: If you have power left on the your Mac, try to do a software reset by holding Shift - Control - Option + power button at the same time. Also check & clean the magnetic charger connection port for any debris.
If that all fails, try the battery reset as shown on this video. It's an easy DYS that you can actually do before spending the $200 I was quoted just to open the computer.
