We finished framing the basement bathroom this week.... and while we planned on getting more framing done, what we were left with was some of the crookedest-est-est 2x4's we've ever seen. We genuinely want to know what in the world is going on with the lumber these days!?!?!?!
So while we had enough to get it done, there was no way we could work with these things.
So instead, on the one really nice day we had, we took advantage and got outside to clear some more trees down by Squatters Heights in preparation for a pathway and dock installation by the lake this summer! (SO EXCITED!)
Later in the week, we ended up taking all those nasty 2x4's and using them as nailing flanges- every last crooked/bent/twisted one of them! Ted and I are happy to have them used up and we're ready to start with a fresh batch.
