After 13 months of self-advocating, Nick M. received a diagnosis of IgG4-RD, a rare autoimmune disorder. Then 7 years later, it morphed into nodal marginal zone lymphoma. But during that time, he had severe symptoms including weight loss, night sweats and fatigue. He then had a number of biopsies, scans and tests done and doctors continued to say, "we don't know" or "we're not sure" why this is happening. He then had to learn how to advocate for himself and his health.
